Mrs. Mary A. Foster of Linden succumbed at the Culver hospital early Wednesday morning following an illness of one year's duration. She had been in the local hospital one week. Born near Cherry Grove, July 3, 1858, Mrs. Foster was the daughter of Samuel and Mary Clouse. She was married to John Foster, Aug. 17, 1881. Mrs. Foster was a member of the Linden Methodist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Norman of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Alice Gobel of Crawfordsville, and Mrs. James Lynch of Kirkpatrick; one adopted son, Glen King; seven grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren. The body was taken to Mrs. Lynch's home at Kirkpatrick. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Linden Methodist church with Rev. Paul Benedict in charge. Rev. H. M. Ivey will assist. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery. – thanks to Lena

LINDEN, Oct. 21. - (Special)- Mary A. Foster, 78, of Kirkpatrick, died at the Culver hospital, Crawfordsville, at 7:45 o'clock this morning, after an illness of one year. Mrs. Foster was born near Cherry Grove, Montgomery county, July 3, 1858, a daughter of Samuel and Mary Clouse, and married John Foster Aug. 17, 1881. She was a member of the Linden M. E. Church. Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Herbert Norman and Mrs. Alice Goble, both of Crawfordsville; and Mrs. James Lynch, of Kirkpatrick; one foster son, Glenn King, of Linden; eleven grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren. The body was removed to the King funeral home here and will be returned to the home of the daughter, Mrs. Lynch, in Kirkpatrick, where friends may call. Funeral services in charge of the Rev. Paul Benedict, of Crawfordsville, and the Rev. H. M. Ivey, of Linden, will be conducted from the local M.E. church Friday after noon at 2:30 o'clock with burial in Mount Pleasant cemetery. – thanks to Lena
